Applications are available starting in January.

Notification of acceptance is sent out in early April. Students are officially enrolled after returning the enclosed documents and paying the registration fee.

TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN (TK)

Admission to TK will be determined by the following factors: 

  • The student must be 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2022.
  • Fill out the application form with the $50.00 non-refundable fee.
  • A report card or written statement from pre-school if available.
  • Birth certificate.
  • Immunization records.
  • Dental information.
  • Baptismal certificate (if Catholic).
  • Readiness screening for academic, emotional, and social readiness by TK teacher.
  • Meeting with the principal.

 

KINDERGARTEN (K)

Admission to K will be determined by the following factors: 

  • The student must be 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2022.
  • Fill out the application form with the $50.00 non-refundable fee.
  • A report card or written statement from pre-school if available.
  • Birth certificate.
  • Immunization records.
  • Dental information.
  • Baptismal certificate (if Catholic).
  • Entrance exam.
  • Meeting with the principal.

 

OTHER GRADES

  • $50.00 non-refundable fee 
  • Birth Certificate (for DK, Kindergarten, and First Grade only)
  • Baptismal Certificate (Catholic)
  • Most recent report card & standardized test scores
  • Immunization Records up to date for all grades. 
  • Dental information of children in Kindergarten and Grade 1.
  • Tdap Booster for 7th and 8th

 

TESTING INFORMATION:

  1. Testing for grades 2 – 8 will take place in the early winter
  2. Kindergarten and first-grade students will receive appointments for individual testing.

 

POLICY FOR ACCEPTANCE:

  1. Preference will be given to active members of the parish. You must school registration at St. John through your envelope number.                  
  2. Conduct and effort grades must be above average.
  3. Parents agree actively to support the spiritual, financial, and academic standards of the school, as well as all school policies.
  4. All requested forms, documents, and fees must be completed and presented to a school official.
  5. Approval of the Principal.
  6. Parents will be notified in April of the Principal’s decision.
