Science Camp Return

Science Camp Return

Our 7th and 8th graders returned from Science Camp with stories of nature, learning and camp. As we did two years ago, we visited Calvin Crest Conferences, a location in the Yosemite National Forest. The trip was made possible by generous donations from the Creech Family.

8th graders will venture to Washington, D.C. for their annual excursion. They will review history by visiting sites and seeing first-hand documents and locations that shaped our history. St. John is proud to be able to offer these educational opportunities for our students. 

Science Camp in Sequoia National Forest

Science Camp in Sequoia National Forest

Our 6th and 7th graders were in the Sequoia National Forest for 4 days for an immersive science camp. Students loved the outdoors, animals and cold. It was a great experience for both students and teachers. Next year, back to Yosemite for another Science Camp, but this time in October.

Harmony Projects has partnered with St. John to offer these musical instruments to the 4th grade. We are making gradual progress in music literacy and theory to better prepare them for play. We hope to extend this partnership for the following school year. 

D-Leagues

D-Leagues

In an effort to offer more sports for students in young ages, Coach Pat has organized the D-League. Students as young as Kindergarten can now compete in sports like basketball, soccer and track. Our last D-league round of Basketball was an overwhelming success. Thank you parents for supporting these new initiatives.

This weekend our Mighty Mights won Nationals for Jamz. Our Varsity Girls Team who were National Champions last year weren’t able to hold their title this year.
