iPads for Every Student

New iPads will be arriving for every student in the school to start the new year. These devices will help to assist in learning and formative assessments. We are proud to be offering the latest technology for our students.

There are still spaces for a few grades. Register in the main office during the summer. TK students must be 4 years old before September 1st. And Kinder students must be 5 years old by September 1st.

Celebrating 90 Years

This September 16th, St. John Chrysostom School will celebrate 90 years in Inglewood. We will have a celebration with mass at 1pm and lunch. All alumni are welcome to attend. 

6 Year WASC Accreditation

6 Year WASC Accreditation

St. John Chrysostom School received the highest accreditation through WASC and WCEA with a full six-year term. This is a testament to the continued growth and strength of the school and faculty. 

Geometry Pilot

Geometry Pilot

Our first year Geometry Pilot with St. Mary’s Academy has been a wonderful success. All the girls got A’s in high school geometry. Once again our 8th graders were accepted in private Catholic High Schools for their freshman year: Loyola, Notre Dame, Bishop Montgomery, Bosco, St. Bernards, St. Mary’s Academy and Verbum Dei. We congratulate all our students on their work and success.

6th and 7th graders are geared up and ready for Science Camp at the end of the month. They have raised about $3,000 dollars for this amazing trip. 

Shoes for the Homeless

Shoes for the Homeless

Last year we collected over 400 shoes for the homeless. This year we are again doing this campaign to help the less fortunate in our neighboring communities. The box for gently used shoes is in the general hallway of the school. 

Boys Varsity Basketball

Our Boys Varsity Team achieved 2nd Round for the championship round for CYO Basketball. Our young men and lady did a wonderful job in their sportsmanship and skills. 

Leukemia Society

The 1st and 2nd grade classes helped to raise over $2,000 dollars for leukemia survivors. We are proud of the students, parents and family members that helped such a great cause.
