Shoes for the Homeless

Last year we collected over 400 shoes for the homeless. This year we are again doing this campaign to help the less fortunate in our neighboring communities. The box for gently used shoes is in the general hallway of the school.

Our Boys Varsity Team achieved 2nd Round for the championship round for CYO Basketball. Our young men and lady did a wonderful job in their sportsmanship and skills.

The 1st and 2nd grade classes helped to raise over $2,000 dollars for leukemia survivors. We are proud of the students, parents and family members that helped such a great cause.

The Varsity Basketball Boys have a 6 – 0 run, undefeated in their league. At this rate, we will most likely reach playoffs with this team. We are proud of their effort, grade and dedication. Go Cougars!

Varsity Cheer Victory at Jamz Cheer

Our Varsity Girls took 2nd place behind Chaminade School this Saturday at the Pomona Fairplex. The team has qualified for the Vegas Nationals in two weeks, and we hope to reclaim 1st place. A special thanks to coaches: Mrs. Benson, Mrs. Maria and Ms. Davis.

In partnership with the Lennox Virtual Academy, St. John students in grades 2nd – 8th now have 1 to 1 technology with adaptive software to help them with learning. It is a new pilot program that St. John and one other Catholic school are piloting.
